No I didn’t. I can count
Remember saying you were an NIL broker and then not knowing there’s a clearing house for non school related NIL deals? Based on this information, I think everyone should believe everything you say.
Take a break

A very strange thing to say if you kind fact knew 2019 and 2017 actually had more college guys….

As I said in the thread about you lying about being an NIL broker, trying to use decade old data in a conversation about college athletics is retarded

2020 for example 24 of the first round draft picks were college players
The MLB draft only had 5 rounds in 2020.

Pride’s narcissism is incredible. He thinks everyone else is seaux stupid they won’t point out obvious flaws in his logic like this.

Ok
2019 had 27
2018 had 20(first 5 picks all college )
2020 doesn’t need to be used to show the trend started pre nil
Hell let’s look at 2022, 70% of all picks went to college

Then why did you use it when it’s clearly non representative data

Pride, I don't even disagree that more elite high school players are going to college now. But you don't have to use disingenuous data to prove that point. There are many reasons why that trend is happening.
1. The MLB draft is still cut in half from what it used to be. There are only 20 rounds now. There used to be 40
2. Fewer minor league teams, kind of goes hand in hand with #1
3. NIL - self explanatory. Players can now get paid while improving their draft stock
4. Faster track now for college players to get to MLB ball. That, with a better lifestyle in college while now getting paid, entices kids to develop in college rather than rookie ball and low A ball. They can get to the majors just as fast going to college
5. The development in college is miles better than it used to be. College programs have so many more resources to give to players, whether it be training, nutritionists, whatever. Many programs get all the advantages a major college football program does at this point
But the trend absolutely went into overdrive during COVID and the shortened 5 round draft, and that led to the 20 round draft we have now

If I was being disingenuous why would I use 2020 when 2019 had more college players taken in 1st round?
2019 had 65% of all draft picks in the first 3 rounds come from college
There is nothing disingenuous I am trying to portray. It’s just the movement of mlb players going to college was pre NIL
We had threads on this very site talking about it before NIL ever was thought
The top two picks in this years upcoming draft will likely by college players again and it won’t have anything to do with NIL either . Will it influence some players? Of course. But it isn’t the material needle mover at all

It’s like if a hurricane comes and floods an area with 2ft of rain but it rained an inch couple days before.
“ACKSHUALLY the rain prior started the flooding”

Do you realize what side of the argument you are on?
You are the sprinkle of rain…..
Top players going to college slowly started in the early 2000s and the trend continually grew(the hurricane tidal flood). It continually rose throughout the 2000s and really started picking up steam after 2010. And before NIL even existed we started to see majority of 1st rounds and total drafts be college players
Nil is the sprinkle of rain on top of a flooded town

You continue to demonstrate your utter confusion on topics lol

Because you’re uneducated on the topic and that was the first and only year you looked at. You weren’t aware of the limited draft and didn’t think about Covid effects and the data fit your narrative.
Essentially, standard operating procedure.

Ahh ok
So in 1 hour you shifted you argument from me knowingly doing it to be disingenuous to me just being a uniformed idiot?
Gotcha
Your dick being so hard to follow me around is causing you to lose flow to your brain

That’s been my argument for some time, that will likely never shift. Unfortunately you have also seemed to go insane over the recent weeks. I hope this isn’t affecting you in real life
