You went back and forth with me about his injuries and size all day and you SWORE they would be non-factors with his stock.
and they have been non factors.
his stock actually went up after FL pro day. It was high as ever because he proved to be a true WR.
his character, with this weed stuff, will hurt his stock if anything.
Where does me saying Harvin being the first WR taken come into? You just like to make shite up?

amazing.
i can probably link 5-10 more, but it's pointless b.c you never admit shite.
quote:
"What could affect his value just as much as his poor character grade is his injury history. Some teams have already removed him from consideration completely because of character concerns. Others recently have pushed him down their boards for durability issues."
and this is from a damn florida paper...just today.

I doubt than an inch or 7/8 of an inch will have a huge impact on Harvin's success in the NFL.
However, much like Reggie Bush, Harvin will soon realize that open spaces close up a lot faster in the League, but unfortunately, he won't be able to help out on punt returns.

yes, apparently only i think 6' is taller than 5'11" and 198 is more than 192.

It wasnt going to effect his draft stock. He was a mid 1st round pick before this drug shite. Like I said 2 months ago. When you said he'll drop to the 2nd. We'll see where he lands now.
it wont be because of injuries, or size, or because he isnt a WR

IMO he is more north/south than reggie bush, which will body well for him in the NFL.
he'll be a similar weapon with all the cost

Shhhhhh....Harvin is undersized and Maclin is not, according to El Tiger

jesus man..... are all of these articles quoiting NFL execs and scouts lying, and only you know the truth? Did you even read the above quote?
i said Harvin late first or early second, and i stick by that.

No, harvin is just smaller.
As many of us said last time, harvin had 3 big flaws....size, durability, not a true WR. Crabtree had and Maclin did not have strikes in all 3 of these areas like Harvin, thus Harvin was not on the same tier in draft stock.

he had so many negatives that he was going to be a mid 1st round pick?
WTF dont you understand?

Did you even read the above quote?
Did you even read the article that you linked? You wonder why I didnt respond to it?
Example 1:
quote:
A report that Harvin failed a drug test for marijuana at the NFL scouting combine has caused his stock to freefall.
Example 2:
quote:
Now there are serious questions about whether Harvin will slip into the second round.
It's not only the alleged failed drug test that concerns scouts. In February, Harvin scored a reported 12 out of 50 on the Wonderlic test, which measures quick thinking and basic problem solving.
In addition, rumors that he was "uncoachable" at times and declined to practice while in Gainesville have hurt his stock.
example 3:
quote:
"Harvin's talent screams first round," Pro Football Weekly personnel analyst Nolan Nawrocki said. "His character screams stay away.
"fre-falling" because of character problems. Can you read?
You think his injuries and size triggered this article just today? lol
And yes, I dont take much stock in "GMs" telling the media they have already taken him off the board because of injuries. If you knew how the draft works, you wouldnt believe it either.

wait....
Maclin is the same size as Harvin; but he doesn't get a strike??
Maclin missed his whole FR season because of a knee injury? not a strike? also got hurt at the NFL combine.
Crabtree has a freaking jacked up ankle, couldnt partake in the combine: not a strike?
haha okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

yes Lester, we are all aware of smoke screens. And yes, you clearly know much more as usual. You must be the one that has worked in major sports league offices, had dinner with NFL guys, and went to multiple NFL drafts.
alright, i'm of to bed. I suggest you do the same young man.

if harvin and tate can do what they did and smoke weed....more power to them. who cares? Knowing what they could do not stoned should raise their stock.

You can tell Ted Ginn is shite in the league after only 2 seasons? Especially when he made one hell of an improvement between his rookie and 2nd season? Get real.

I can't see Harvin at 5'11.
