sources in Valley Ranch say that the Cowboys are looking for a "burner" at wideout...might be a good fit

I always laugh when guys going to the NFL test positive for any sort of banned substance; if you think this is the first time for any of these guys you're lying to yourself.

I wonder why top players are almost NEVER suspended from college games (UT's cornerback being the exception when they played OSU I recall); if you're telling me that Harvin never smoked up in the fall/winter then I'm calling you a liar.

I think all of the talk in this thread has been "Germans" everyone knew Harvin liked his pot before this.

I think it says more that Harvin wasn't able/smart enough to put the pipe down for a few months until after the combine.

I have no clue why you would be stupid enough to light up before the combine. I would guess at least 50% of the players in this draft smoke on regular basis, most are smart enough to not test positive though.

Tedd Ginn had a pretty good sophmore year last year. What are you talking about.

Which puts him ahead of the WR development curve.

You have to remember that in today's media world, especially with this recent generation (the Millennials, who were born between 1981 and 2000), a person's "bust" status is determined within their first 2-3 years instead of after looking at their entire career.

Like the people who like to bash Robert Meachem without looking at, say, Roddy White...

Maclin 6' 198

Harvin 5'11 1/8" 192

character was the only reason Maclin was a less risky pick fotr that type of WR

this failed test just reinforces the reason why Maclin will be a Top 10 pick and Harvin could potentially slide out of the 1st Round
