When you look at the whole thing, it's really GSP's fault for cleaning out the Welterweight division.

I would like to see him face Nick Diaz but that's going to happen until he can put the hippie lettuce down.

I'd rather Jake Shields which is looking more likely.

I'd also expect it won't be long and Akiyama moves down to 170 which could make things interesting.

I really don't see anyone "hating" on GSP here

I wish Fedor would fight Lesnar, or Mir, or Carwin, etc..before he gets too old these next two to four years milking paydays. I would like to see him cement his legacy.

I don't know etm, every GSP fight, the threads have quite a few guys wishing GSP would lose, really strongly. I think he's great for MMA.

Smack, being one of GSP's biggest detractors year after year. Especially when BJP was involved.

I want to see Fedor fight Lesnar also, but Fedor's legacy is already cemented.

Having a dominant champion in a cleaned out division can get boring. It is nice to have a title fight that the result is pretty much a given save a fluke punch every once in a while.

I didn't read the whole thread intially, but the first three or four posts on the first page, were seemingly anti-GSP guys?

Don't play coy Smack...Maximus, etc..were very anti-GSP in his BJP fights.

Dude other than the guy that started this thread no one has bashed GSP. As matter of a fact we have talked more about Hardy not really deserving a title shot.

Well want you work on that and get back to us. Thanks

Cash, the average sized man isn't in BJ nor Fedor's divisions, they are primarily GSP and Anderson Silva's wgt, maybe Machida's, thus dominating those divisions always impresses me, even if the conclusion possibly being somewhat assumed. I'm never bored, as even watching GSP vs Thiago Alves, was like watching Hanibal Lecter with a scalpel. BJ vs Diego, etc..masterpieces even if routs.

Ok, I hear you Smack. It just seems that way at times whenever there is a GSP fight.

I started the thread and I am very anti-GSP. I can't help it. He's a great fighter, I just can't stand the guy and want to see Hardy turn the lights out on him.

for millions of newer fans to the game, yes.

that, or he will just be forgotten by them.

I wouldn't dispute anybody saying they don't hate GSP's skills, but admit that being BJ nuthuggers has left sour tastes in your mouths after their fight.

I've been a fan of MMA for a while now. I know who Fedor is and how good he is. But his legacy will be not coming to the UFC and proving it more then how great a fighter he is IMO. The MMA fan base is too largely comprised of UFC fans for this not to happen.

I know and watched what he did in Pride, but he hasn't fought anyone worth a damn in a while.

He should dump those handlers of his, and take Dana's offer for a few years of UFC.

Go out with a bang, not hidden in obscurity, or fighting in front of Putin in some small Russian gym hidden from the world's eyes.
