They get a good look at oladipo and hey they can trade him for more at the deadline, or they can try to resign him if they want. if he walks they have a max slot to offer.
Stone has done pretty well:
Turn Robert Covington into wood and 2 first
Turn westbrook into wall and 1 first.

1 all star/ all nba / all defense kinda guy
2 guys who probably aren’t rotation players

And
2. Leading the league in assists
Than KD has?
there is no player on earth who can both score at an all time elite level and play make for his teammates at an all time elite level.
Lebron would be the closest. But he is not the scorer harden is.
KD is a more efficient SHOOTER. by a good bit.
Just like harden is a much better playmaker and ball handler by a good bit.
Harden better at getting to the line.
They are by far 2 most “unguardable” perimeter players in the league. And you know what kyrie is probably top 5 I would have Steph and lillard in that group.
Imagine BKN being able to just pick out the worse defender on the opponent and go at him with one of those 3

KD isn’t interested in numbers, or he would have told OKC to get Russ out of there. He wouldn’t have joined a team with 2 guys who put 40 easily.
