After an astonishing and record setting night shooting 24-24 on free throws, the GOAT offensive player can cross a seemingly uncrossable threshold with a quarter of the season over.

I know it’s easy to rag on the guy, but there will be a night this season where he shoots 40 times and makes most of them, and gets to the line, and he will break 80 points.

Tbt I am surprised he isn’t up over forty now with Eric being out. Then you see the doubles teams he faces and you realize the respect that other coaches have for him. Wow. Doc was scared to let either kawhi or Paul George guard him the other night in crunch time. So he doubled teamed him with both of them.

He also went 11-38 from the field and 4-20 from 3. So, he had better keep getting those calls, or things go south fast.

You can troll all you want..

But his legacy gets tinier and more written in stone by the year.

I highly doubt he is every anything more than, “that one guy who had nice numbers, never won shite, crumbled, couldn’t lead, and bastardized the game.”

Sorry bro. You wrong. He will finish top 5 all time in scoring, and many metrics including PER WS48 and BPM. 8-10 1st team all nbas, etc etc etc. couple titles. He will be in the discussion for top 10 all time. Somewheres between 10-15.

There is nothing historically to point to that would lead anyone to that assumption

Who cares?

Half of us can’t list the top 10 all-time scorers. And that goes for the rest of the stats you posted

E regime watched him play. And I’m nicer to him than most. Way nicer.

But he will NOT be looked back upon fondly.

Uhh. There is no super team. No team has his team beat at a 4 or 3 to 1 all nba player to one advantage like the last couple years of GOAT.

Same goes for lebron and kD. Required super teams to win titles. Super teams will def not be viewed well down the road.
