This is just the American audience. But I agree, this has to be a mistake. Surely the Champions League game had 10-12 million.

So the champions league final only garnered 2.9m across all platforms in the States. Makes those Gold Cup numbers even more impressive.

because it usually has more viewers than the Superbowl.

Going to guess this list just takes American viewers into account.

I’m shocked by the NFL

I definitely didn’t watch a single game this year though

Saints, Pats, Rams, and Chiefs are must-see TV.

Might not be the most watched in the US, but it is the most watched in the world (Maybe cricket is #1?)

I would certainly have not expected the NCAABB championship game to outdraw the NBA finals.

All the NFL at the top is no surprise.

You’d also think everyone was boycotting the NFL for a few reasons
Their numbers were down a good bit, no?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the playoff ratings were up overall. The super bowl was down a bit from a year ago, but the other weekends saw huge growths.

the single elimination hoops tournament is the Holy of Holies for me.

The Espn music included a black choir.

Being single elimination makes it more exciting than a series. The series tends to rub out one spectacular day by one or two guys on the underdog

Once, sleepy floyd got 51 for golden state vs lake show. First round. Lakers gsweep.

Ncaa bb is the most exciting playoff on tv.

By far.

Did you see 6 seed villanova edge #1 georgetown and ewing to win champ game with on fire performance by mcclain and two solid performances by teammates? Only the nova pf was nba starter. The two high scorers for nova didnt do much after that game.

It doesn't help that most of the big games are at terrible times for American audiences.

yeah you're old

I just happen to like storylines and quality of play, which the NBA runs miles around college basketball in
