Who knows there might be a spot for Collins come summer. Seems that every year there are a small number of teaching spots open due to attrician.

Well, that's who I figured would get the job. After reading the list of finalists, he seemed to stand out more than anyone. If he does bring a veer, it will be an interesting change.

Hahnville was up 21-0 on WM with Laron Landry. WM won 63-28.

What does that have to do with Salt or the Veer?

Was only 14 JJ, don't think we ever scored 21 on WM before much less 28.

Not real good, no outstanding players. Have a couple of decent pitchers but lost better position players. Will still probably win the district, it's fairly weak.

The veer

It was in reply to the veer not being a good offense if you're losing. Just pointing out that's not the case.

It was quick. Two big passes with WM in Cover 0. Final score was 42-20. I believe I was thinking of a Rayville game with that final score.

Laron wasn't playing QB that year. Hahnville got up quick because WM couldn't defend the pass, then for some reason Hahnville tries to run. WM is great against the run. At least that's what I remember, long time ago.

They just caught WM in cover 0 and ran two post routes. Once WM actually put safeties back, the passing game went away.
