IDK how to explain it...but he looks just like you would imagine a Duke PG playing football with. Everything is very exaggerated or something, I dunno what it is exactly

can't wait until he runs for a first down, slides, then pounds the turf while on his knees

Obviously he missed some throws and throwing a lot of WR screens and quick passes to get him in a rythm (u expect this after a 5yr lay off). But it looks like he starting to get comfortable and it looks like hes starting to get the feel for the game again.

he didn't lose the first snap. It was way over his head and the fault of the center.

He's looked good since then, leading a drive right now with about 2 minutes left. In the red zone.

Paulus has the nation on notice.

I see a Heisman in his future.

I think that it's been since, what, 2001??? that they've had a winning season? That's a longer drought than Tulane's current one.

He was a high school AA, and his coach is a former NFL assistant, so it was only a matter of how quickly he could knock off the rust.

For sure. Even after just one half he looks like a leader. He seems to make good decisions and inspires confidence. It's really early, but man, he looks like one of the better qb's in college football. He would start for many top 25 teams.
