I like your list although I have to admit I don't know who Paul Eels is and I wasn't a big Jay Randolph fan. I happened to enjoy listening to Keith Jackson and would add him to your list in place of Eels.

larry munson and skip carey for me. not expecting others to be as familiar with those 2 though. naturally, carey will get a lot of love on here.

I enjoyed his dry wit.

I almost think he was funner to listen to when the Braves sucked all those years.

There was nothing better than turning on a Braves game at 4:30 on a weekday afternoon (Skip called these "cocktail hour" games) and there would be maybe 3000 fans at Fulton County Stadium...and he would say "If you happen to be in the neighborhood, stop by....plenty of good seats are available"

Curt Gowdy. "Don't call it sudden death, call it sudden victory."

I grew up listening to a bunch of SEC guys on chear channel stations like WWL that were awesome. Cawood Ledford at Kentucky, Paul Eells at Vanderbilt and Arkansas and of course, John Ferguson who in addition to LSU radio did the SEC basketball TV game of the week from the late 60's to early 80's with Joe Dean.

I enjoyed his dry wit.

One night in around '88 or '89 when the Braves were just putrid they were at Dodger Stadium and the Dodgers had the bases loaded. Skip said,"bases loaded, no one out." Then he paused and added,"I feel like I've been saying that my whole adult life."

Yep...as did I. I will always associate the way a baseball broadcast should sound with George Kell and Al Kaline.
