Because the game sucked, it doesn’t deserve HD

Doesn’t really matter what year football started, 2019 LSU broke Bama so bad they conspired with the Chinese government to try to get the whole 2020 season cancelled.

9-6 was a great game that I watch here and there.

I wish both coaches would have done a better job of getting the offenses in a flow, but those defenses were absolutely incredible.

Not even close. I’m resigned to losing the mulligan bowl, but it wasn’t entertaining at all compared to 9-6, and that’s just objective.

21-0 isn’t even a good game for Bama fans. It’s objectively boring as shite.

I’ve never rewatched it.

I 100% thought Alabama would win the game and never once got the urge to watch it again. It was fun during the game. And LSU not crossing the 50 until late in the game was legitimately hilarious.

But the game was shite.

21-0 was like 5 FGs, a TD, and a missed XP IIRC. LSU didn't cross midfield blah blah blah, meanwhile, Alabama couldn't punch it in until the 4th I believe.

It was pretty clear early LSU wasn't going to win, and it simply wasn't an entertaining game. One good defense, one great defense, one mediocre offense, and one shitty offense.

9-6 was clearly close throughout. Tension was there throughout. Two insane defensive performances. Two meh offenses.

It's all relative. 21-0 was more boring than 9-6.

Why would anyone (even the winners) want to rewatch that boring arse game?

It might be one of the most boring games of all-time. Certainly the most boring "important game" of this era.

There was no finesse. Just two Mastodons ramming heads for 60 minutes...with Les Miles Stone Age offense meeting Saban's Bronze Age offense.

It was like a Rugby match. Very rarely does a whipping look like 21-0. Almost never. It's like Alabama went up 2 Tds and the game was over. And then Bama did pretty much nothing the rest of the night either.

Bama was 3-14 on 3rd down; LSU was 2-12

That's not 4th down, that's just 3rd down.

Jefferson passed for 53 yards.

But that game was truly the greatest display of 1950's High School football I've ever seen.

They were both boring, but 9-6 at least had a compelling and close game that went to OT.

I love how LSU fans forget (are in denial?) they should have lost the GOTC.

My favorite part is Les Miles brought essentially the same game plan that should have lost him the game in Tuscaloosa to New Orleans and got destroyed. I've said it for a long time, he should have been fired for that reason alone.

Bama beat Bama.

Oh well, 46-41 and 15-0 GOAT team dries my tears.

Incredible how much of an imbecile he was. I don’t understand how so many fans love him. Sure, he was a nice guy but a disaster on game day.
