Neville hasnt been able to stop the 5-6, 150 lb. running back for STM. he’s got over 100yds and 2 TDs.

They are garbage. It’s pretty embarrassing for them. This game could have been even worse than it already is. I don’t know what it is but NLA just doesn’t have any talent anymore. West Monroe hasn’t been very great compared to teams past but Neville. Jesus idk man. That is the most pillow soft defense I have seen. They should be ashamed of themselves. It’s a long trip back to Monroe.

Neville had multiple starters out with mono and lost a few more to injury during the game. Both LB’s, a DE who was injured last week, and a corner. There were several others playing sick from what I’ve heard. I believe Will Campbell was out as well. Sometimes your the windshield and sometimes your the bug. Tonight we were the bug. Congrats STM, see ya next year.

Yeah went to the game expecting a good one. It wasn’t. Guess it just shows the talent gap between south LA and north LA high schools. STM didn’t even play their best game. Looked kind of sloppy actually. Prob should have been a bigger blowout.

I think what’s being overlooked is STM’s tempo offense. Pound for pound, Neville is probably a better team, just like Catholic will be next week. The equalizer is when STM gets their offense rolling and they are snapping the ball every 5 seconds and passing to the sidelines and get the defensive linemen and backers running from sideline to sideline for many plays in a row. No one can hang with that. I really didn’t expect their defense to shutdown Neville like they did tonight, but I did expect the victory.
My prediction is that they do the same to CHS next weekend. These coaches run the team more like an organization than a HS team. Like I said, if they get their offense clicking, no one in the state can keep up.
