NBC needs to take notes on this show for the Men in Blazers show.

If you're only argument is they won't do it because they haven't done it before, then you aren't running with much.
And if your only argument is they will do it because they have the same players and the same coach as last year, then you're not running with much either. Especially in a conference with two teams they've never gotten past in the playoffs before.

@KevinDing: I've been told @SteveNash will be ruled out for the entire 2014-15 NBA season with nerve issues: bit.ly/1uMDeb9.

I bet he retires now. Tough for such a great player to end like that.

Something does feel off about MiB. They wanted it to have the panic room feel of the World Cup, but I don't think it's working.

So I thought that was a great first episode. I've got the DVR set up for the future ones. I actually have something to watch on ESPN that isn't live sporting events.

The 22 or so minutes they get to have to discuss highlights and have a guest on just doesn't seem like enough. I've enjoyed it, but there is definitely something off about it.

Agreed. My brother is going to eat that show up. He went to a concert tonight, so he missed the first one. I just texted him to let him know it's great.

Same. There is a singer named Marina and the Diamonds. She's really no that hot, but once I heard her Welsh accent in an interview, I was in love.

It's a different year.

Listen, I thought the Spurs would win it all the last two years. They played the redemption card hard last year. Now, I just don't know if the same motivation will be there. They're a year older, but that really shouldn't matter too much as long as they stay healthy. They rely so much on depth and ball movement. They were the only team in the playoffs last year that kept their 10-man rotation even in the postseason.

They've very good.

The Clippers should finish with a better record than OKC in the regular season, probably simply due to the fact that Durant might miss two months. The Clippers should have beat them last year, IMO. And now, they'll have home court on top of it. And like I said, the constant hassle of having to hear about and deal with the Donald Sterling drama really affected that team.

I think the Clippers are a team that will be in the conference finals. The Spurs could very well get there, but let's not forget they could have gone down to Dallas in the first round last year. They aren't immune to the deep western conference either.

I like the Clippers. I like their style and I like their depth. And I think Chris Paul could be the best player in the Western Conference this year.

It should be an exciting season.

Except for the fact that they blew Dallas out when their backs were against the wall.

I refuse saying the Spurs are dead until it actually happens because I was all aboard that bandwagon when the Grizz beat them in the first round a few years ago.

If I had a nickel for every time the Spurs were dead, I'd have a lot of nickels.

The series went to 7 games. Against the 8 seed.

Is my point.

They're still very good. No one is saying otherwise.

Yep. Thought it was great.

Don't need a live audience, but whatever.
