I’m not saying LSU will beat Gonzaga if they play, I’m saying Gonzaga won’t win it because they haven’t needed to improve the way other teams who’ve contended for power 5 Conf titles have. Michigan for example is at a completely different level now compared to 2 months ago on the perimeter. All of the top tier teams have changed for the better to stay ahead but Gonzaga didn’t have that progression, they’re just getting out of tight spots because the teams they’re playing are pitiful.

Lmfao no they haven’t and their last top 25 win was December 16th. Michigan, Baylor, Iowa, Illinois, Purdue, Okie St., Ohio St., Kansas, Texas, Michigan St., Oklahoma and West Virginia all have more wins vs ranked teams you ignorant idiot. Just like the other clown you don’t watch Gonzaga’s games, you don’t watch college basketball and you have no idea what you’re talking about.

They won’t win it all.... there are teams that can shut them down..... I think Baylor could run them off the court. Or a hot team like a Bama or Oklahoma could beat them.... they should make the elite 8 , but after that it’s anyone’s tourney this year by that point....

You can pick and choose whichever top 25 you wish. There is actually a thread on this right this moment. Bottom line is, Gonzaga hasn't had near the cupcake schedule you make it out to be. Is their conference weaker? Sure. But you can't just move cut off the season at a certain point, and say you are correct because they played all their tougher games before that point.

The only weakness I see with Gonzaga is a lack of solid depth. They put 5 high basketball IQ guys out there and just bludgeon teams to death. There was a play late in the game where a kid from zaga got trapped in the paint and managed to keep his dribble and make a tough close range shot. 95% of college basketball players pickup their dribble there and force a wild shot or turn it over. They’re just an extremely well coached, calm team with good players.
Would Bama beat them? I highly doubt it, but I think a team like Bama has the best shot stylistically. If Zaga is only going to play 6 guys then get them into a track meet and see how those lungs hold up. Defend them with 4 long athletes that swarm on defense. Bama, Florida State, Baylor, Arkansas, Michigan, Illinois, Houston, etc.
You better be able to defend first and foremost, shoot the 3, and have a player than can if not take over a game, at least be able to match Suggs. Styles make fights. I think it starts with a really good on ball perimeter defender to slow down Suggs though. Getting 3s rained down on you like a summer thunderstorm can absolutely demoralize any team. Nobody is holding up against a performance, for example, like Alabama had at the PMAC. There are quite a few teams in the field with shooters capable of replicating that. It’s not called March madness for nothing
