yea it was stiff, i like it though
Maybe I didn't give it enough time. I took it out to the range a number of times, but only played two rounds with it. I still have it. I'm always tempted to give it another go. It's such a gorgeous golf club.

Adams UC10 3-9
Callaway Forged 48*
Bridgestone WC Design 52*
Vokey Spin Milled 56*

I just got the 909, launches a little low off the ground so I'm thinking about finding one with a different shaft.

I really like them. A little background:I had played a set specially made tad moore blades for at least ten years. They were Really sweet clubs. I decided to upgrade last march when the AP2s came out and my stroke avg dropped almost four shots. I never really thought that the irons could make that much difference but I my case they did.

Anyone interested in purchasing a set of the 2008 TaylorMade R7 CGB Max irons at a great price? If you are unable to hit these clubs high and straight…you should avoid purchasing any other golf equipment

I had a Titleist 975D RH 8.5 degrees with a stiff Titleist stock shaft that I regularly hammered out 285 - 320 and with the occassional 350 - 365. I broke the shaft at the hostel last year and had not been able to get any other driver to match the feel and power of that driver. I finally found another on eBay just like it, for $10 plus $10 shipping. I paid $499 for the original. This one is just as sweet!

Perhaps you should join the PGA tour.

With today's technologically tuned equipment and balls hitting that far on a tee shot is not too hard to do. I'm in my early 50's and shouldn't be hitting the ball farther than I did in my early 30's, but I do. Much farther. In my 30's I hit a 7 iron 155, but today I can hit that with a 9 iron. If you aren't, you need lessons or new equipment or both.

I can't make a 6' putt, though.

*edit: a 430 yard drive has already been recorded on the PGA tour this year. These guys can hit it crazy long.

Yea, no doubt. Its crazy how good those guys are. All bullshite aside though, you are right about the equipment. Greg Norman said the same thing. He hits it longer now than when he was in his 30's. Unbelieveable.
