Try this, instead of looking at the ball, pick a spot about 2 inches in front of the ball to look at.

On putts 3 feet and closer, try and cover the hole with your putter face on your follow through.

I have a Sabertooth in the bag as well.

I was at a PGA Superstore and tried 50 putters and this was the only one I had great feel for on every ball strike.

Plus, it doubles as a back scratcher..

..and is handy in HTH combat on the course.

There is a reason they say'DRIVE FOR SHOW AND PUTT FOR DOUGH" Concontrate. I am great on the greens. I focus on speed and angle. GRIP should NOT matter. Its repetition. And for the sake of your love of the game. "DON'T QUIT". Beating the course is a golfers DREAM.

I shot 71 with 32 fricking putts today. I was 0/6 on makable 10 ft birdie putts. I made an eagle and 3 birdies bc I hit it within 2 ft on those holes

My dad taught me and from day one he told me to imagine standing behind the ball and rolling the ball with your right hand....and as you release say,'give the ball to the hole'

Been doing it since I was 8

To each his own

Take a valium and aim right.

Seriously though, what helped me has been mentioned already. Short backstroke (3") but keep the pace up on the swing and follow-through.

But if you're shooting low 70's, something tells me you should know how to correct it.

if you're right handed it's typically your right hand that's "yipping" at impact. flip your right hand around and try a "claw" grip. This will eliminate your yips.

(Left handed Mickelson using the claw grip ... you get the idea)
