On a related note, I played on the same team as Chad Ogea in Mid City and at St. Louis.

Mid City had a guy named Yogi in the early 90s. Dude was a monster

Bragging Time. I struck out the younger Cecchini son 3 times in a row in his first varsity game ever as a freshman(I was only a sophomore). He then got benched. Didn’t know he’d be so good later on the older one barreled me up a few times tho

Can’t remember Yogi’s last name, might have been Caesar... pretty sure his first name was really Donald. And you’re right, that dude could fricking hum that ball. He was at Barbe for a bit, ended up going back to Lagrange.

Yep that’s him. I think he was related to all the other Caesar badasses. Dude was like 6 foot as a 12 year old throwing mid 70s

If he would have been on SLC they might have won the World Series. Both teams in LC that year were the two best in the state
