IDK what DC's specific laws are; however, fun hearing some of the new information I don't see it as horrible. It was very stupid, but not horrible.

Delonte West's situation is worse IMO, and he still hasn't been suspended. Guy got caught riding around with like 4 loaded guns on a motorcycle. One of them was a loaded shotgun in a guitar case. I think he believes that he's a character from Kill Bill
