ETA: I wish Louisiana supported their schools by broadcasting high school football all year long, including these championships. They show all sports on there. They are currently showing girls high school flag football on there. Here's the link to their Flag Football Division 3 state championship.

?????

We have games on Yurview Channel 4 all season long…

The only Yurview we get up here is the Yurview streaming that you have to pay $10 a month for.

There are no statewide televised games during the season in Louisiana. There haven't been any since Cox Sports shut down their statewide channel. We get nothing up here in Ruston/Monroe/Shreveport on TV. Yourview 4 must be something South Louisiana gets.

I've always been impressed that their PBS channel is who shows their games in Geogria. Our PBS has very little Louisiana only programing. I don't think it has any live high school sports. They show high school volleyball, basketball baseball, every sport on their PBS channel.

If them and Carrollton can both win you'd have two teams in the same county winning a state title. IDK when was the the last time that happened.

I know Harrison and Marietta won 6A and 7A in 2019.

Ware County is South Georgia. I would also put Warner Robins in South Georgia unless you want to segment into three with a middle classification.

Pretty cool that Bowdon and Carrollton, towns that are like 10 minutes away from each other, are both in the finals. But when the hell did Carrollton become 7a. Not only that, when did that even become a thing, I thought it was only 6A.

Cedar Grove is turning to quite the powerhouse. They've basically taken Tucker's place as the dominant Dekalb county team.

Good job by Langston Hughes for being in state. That school has only existed since 2010.

This year. There was a mid-cycle reclassification. That's why Buford is also now in 7A.

7A has been around for about 15 years. The biggest of the big schools. Mostly Cobb/Gwinnett and the big S.GA schools (Valdosta, Camden, Colquitt). But next year will be the last year of that classification. GHSA is going back to 6 classifications in '24.

This will be their 5th title in a 7 or 8 year period IIRC.

They are one of my schools. When we first picked them up, they were awful. Now they are on the verge of winning their first title, and if they of had a kicker last year, they'd be playing for B2B titles.

Both games last night were good.

PACS and Swainsboro slugged it until PACS finally took control in the fourth. PACS was really beaten up coming into the game, but those boys have fought hard all season.

Those 3 kids for Swainsboro were stupid fast.

They wore themselves out with all of the rushing TDs in the first three quarters and were gassed in the fourth.

Stockton for PACS is a TOUGH dude. I know he's small, but he earned more scholarship offers last night.

Buford is 7A because damn near every player on their roster is out of area.

Cedartown got a gift on that spot but they’re making plays.
