Is Norte Dame eligible for the ACC championship game this year? I know they’re playing an ACC schedule, but I thought that was this year only and they maintained their independent status?

And after that game, all Notre Dame had to do was beat lowly Boston College the next week to play for the title. Then they somehow lost.

Florida St. was so explosive then. Didn't Ward win the Heisman Trophy that year? I still don't believe Notre Dame lost to Boston College the next game at home.
