Every starter in the bench is pissed besides Ja Morant. Over there giggling and playing with his hair. Gives no fricks about losing

Wouldn’t know. College basketball is almost as unwatchable as LSU men’s basketball.

Love how Tristan Thompson has been on the tram for two weeks and he’s on the bench being the ultimate hype man

That was a soul stealing beatdown. Props to Brooks for staying out there and shaking hands.

First non bubble series win since 2012

That was definitely a series. The Lakers jumped out to a 3-1 lead on a weird Denver team only to have to close out in game 7. Feel like Ron Artest was suspended one of those games as well

The Lakers are still the lolakers until they manage to beat a team that isn’t a shell of itself with injuries.

I get you’re sour. I would be too, but I think you’re discrediting the transactions, chemistry, and effort that has gone into the last half of their season. I don’t think anyone saw all of this gelling and working like this. It’s a damn good job all around. Everyone has bought in, and they are dangerous.

The lakers had one of the easiest schedules after the trade deadline and the few good record teams they played had key stars out.

It continued on into the first round. If they can beat a healthy team in a series then they’ll get props.

So far they’ve beaten shells of teams.

Matt Moore, who I generally like, is absolutely melting down.

Don’t think Verno is too happy either. Memphis fans struggling all around.

This isn’t true. The 26 games the Lakers played, the average adjusted net rating was positive (like 0.16 per game), so average team should have gone 13-13 or 12-14. If you take out the two games played against Houston, the net rating was 0.8.

And somehow you conveniently leave out LeBron missed like 15 of those games, Russell missed 9, and Davis missed 2.

I mean they were missing Adams and Clarke. They would have probably had a marginal impact, but they were not high enough of impact players to make a difference (and Memphis was nearly 5 points better per 100 possessions when Clarke was off the court). They lost 3 of the 4 games by double digits, and were outscored by 7.5 points per game on average. Only 1 game may have made a difference (the OT game), but overall, they were too outmanned to blame the injuries.
