The NBA and MLB made their sport happen. If you were expecting the normal product, that's on your dumb arse. Fans of the sports should be happy with what they got.

I like baseball. It may not fit into today's fast-paced mentality, but it's a fun game to settle into. I enjoyed this series a lot.
Third down pass interference has ruined the NFL for me as has the idea that superstars get preferential calls in the NBA.
MLB and college sports for me.

More so than the "woke" issue, I think baseball killed itself this year by not coming back sooner because the players and management took so long to agree on compensation. They could have had the spotlight to themselves completely, but instead they screwed the pooch.

I was one of those disgusted by the ridiculously lengthy process resuming the season when it should have started at least a month earlier. I really didn't care at all until the playoffs. Sadly, I fear the same shite will happen after next year when the CBA runs out. Fans don't care about how the pie is sliced. They just want to be entertained.

Actually there is talk of them temporarily extending the CBA for a year or two.
