Wasn't just Travis. The big hits were on the lines. Very clear watching this season he never actually fixed the Oline, which was a huge problem at the beginning of his tenure.

There was talent around him on those 2 teams. He didn’t drag this bunch to those records.
ETA: In 2022 they lost to all 3 decent teams they played

Travis was a great player, but they also had guys like Jared Verse and other play makers those years.

Getting snubbed out of the playoffs last year broke the frick out of that program. It might take them at least 5--10 years to get back on track.
