Maybe the loss to the Sabers was a wake up call, that first period in Buffalo was so fricking horrid that an ECHL team would blow up the roster. They're now tied for 9th depending on the Minnesota game tonight - wake the frick up and be the team that they're capable of being and they can make a run at this.

If October an November wasn't a wake up call for the Stars nothing else will be. They just aren't that good, and are consistently letting in more goals than they score. Two of Winnipeg, Chicago, Vancouver, need to have horrific stretches in the last leg of the season for the stars to get in. And this assumes that the stars can win more than the Wild and LA.

Rags fan first, preds fan second. Moved from NYC to Nashville 18 months ago and go to a lot of games entertaining clients so may as well follow the local team.

Spectacular job by the Jets front office. They were able to get good value from a guy everyone knew you had to trade, and couldn't help a team until next season. That limited the pool of trade partners considerably.
