for real, get some balls guys. he is a head coach of a really good team...the media gets to ask whatever the hell they want, and he as the right to respond however the hell he wants. it aint like the media plays with kid gloves.

to the whole "who the hell is this guy" - a guy who led his team deep in the tourney last year and gets a lot out of his team. good coach.

I don't give a shite. I ain't a pussy, but nobody has to be a condescending prick. EVER. The guy has some deep-seeded psychological issues if he feels the need to act that way.

Ignoring this year (let's remember that it's December also guys), how do you not think he's a good coach? Seriously, getting Kansas State to the elite 8 last year was one of the better coaching jobs in the country. I get it that you loathe KSU but finishing 3rd, 4th, and 2nd in the big 12 with that program makes you a pretty good coach. Him and Mike Anderson are unquestionably the two best coaches in the conference outside of Self IMO.

well yeah he's a good coach. i just dont think he's that great. i am mincing words here, so your point is valid. he does well with what he has.

i don't even dislike k state basketball bc they are just horrible. they have beaten kansas like 3 times out of the last 50.

Look, press conferences are part of the territory if you want to be a winner in big-time college basketball. If he can't handle the pressure without being a prick to everyone, then go coach at Bumfrick State where nobody cares what you do.

From what I have heard he is a great guy off the court. I have a buddy who walked on and he said it's kind of a bittersweet relationship. He said at practice and on the court the guy as big a dick as the media portrays. Off the court though he said the guy would do anything for you. He seems to have the Les Miles effect on players where they just really like the guy.
