Is it because of their overhaul before Horowitz left?

Chinese bot farm contract ran out and they forgot to renew

Losing 120 million unique page views from summer to football season doesnt even seem possible

Yeah, those original numbers seem very inflated.

Didn't they get rid of articles and it's just videos now?

i absolutely LOATHE this move online towards inserting stupid fricking videos in every goddamn sports article

hopefully this utter failure creates a trend where this stupidity decreases

Agreed. It actually makes me very happy that people are rejecting this nonsense.

i just don't see how it makes sense from an actual presentation perspective

now ego? gaming SEO somehow? OK, i can see it being a scam

but i just can't think people are so stupid in this era that they pick text articles to watch videos of related content

Yes, they basically fired everyone over the summer and it's now just a few employees that cut and post video from only Sports on their network now.

And I haven't visited FOX but on ESPN, the videos play automatically and there is no way to stop it.

Surely has something to do with them moving away from articles to video clips. They're wanting to transform FS.com to more of a sports YouTube than a digital magazine.

Jamie Horowitz is terrible.

Yeah, but since FOX is the only one posting videos, it would be like a sports YouTube with one channel. Not sure it's a great idea.

I always mute my tabs when I click on an ESPN or Fox link.

What is the point of a video that just says what is in the article but somehow with less substance?
