Every other running back that got 25 + carries today all easily eclipsed a hundred yards and had at least 4ypc except Leonard.


4ypc is really the benchmark for average RBs. He struggles to hit that mark consistently. He had vision problems in college and seems to still have them.

He is best when running behind a lead back that way the hole is defined for him and he can just run hard. Problem is teams barely even carry full backs on active rosters anymore.

Thought he had turned the corner last year and left him alone as the starter. Fourth quarter was just like Les Miles continuously running Fournette into the teeth of Alabama’s defense.

Damn good first 40 minutes for Fournette though.
