Agreed, I really don't think the car looks bad. Bummer about an American team flying the Russian colors but all that aside I think the car looks sharp.

Haas has no problem keeping to F1 roots with shady and dark money for sponsors.
It's a welcome storyline to everyone else being all corporate and straight laced.
Rich Energy is hinting that they are returning, maybe with Haas. Maybe it will be Williams instead since we don't really know their sponsor. Or maybe they are just attention whoring.

Until I see their name on the side of a car I'm not buying it.
With that said Haas is showing they'll take pretty much anyone's money and I wouldn't be surprised to see Williams welcome their money aboard either. I see someone made a @RichWilliamsF1 account and @REWilliamsF1 account on Twitter and both were suspended. So maybe it's Williams and he's just trying to reserve those accounts?

If you recall, Rich Energy was slated to be Williams' sponsor a couple of years ago. Then Haas swooped in and undercut them. So it wouldn't be a surprise at all to see their name on the Williams car.

Haas car is an epic fail... so damn basic compared to the others outside of it being the Russian flag.

Aston and Mercedes look like they just inverted their colors.
There's going to be three white cars and two blue cars. Unless Williams goes wild and changes their normal livery.
A lot of these cars are starting to look like NASCAR with all of the sponsors they are putting on there.

Wonder what color codes they'll be using on the timing screen. As you said, Merc used to get teal but it looks like that may belong to Aston Martin this year and they'll give Mercedes black.
The only silver lining in the whole Haas mess is that they may actually be competitive next year if they can use this year to get their shite together. That's my hope anyway but it could just be a pipe dream.

With only being able to upgrade two things on the car, they weren't going to fix last years car anyway. Might as well divert all resources to the new cars.
Aston has a nice advantage over the mid-field by being able to upgrade their rear suspension and gearbox without having to use their two upgrade tokens. The suspension will be a pretty major free upgrade for them.

Another week of testing won't make the cars any safer. There wouldn't be time to fix any issues they found between testing and the first race anyway.
