That restart from Max was beautiful.

I was like 70% sure we were gonna have to sit through 2-3 more restarts as Max bombed the inside of Turn 1

Hamilton is just plain faster right now. It doesn’t even matter where they qualify. Hamilton’s passing cars like they’re stationary.

Things that make you go, hmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!

Pretty amazing that they caught them cheating with the rear wing right around the time that Merc found the power to run down every other team even without DRS??

If they’re still cheating then it’s undetectable because RB are appealing anything that moves or sneezes.

Not only that, but the FIA implemented a new test that Merc passed. So the RBR accusations were false.

I still think Merc is doing some trick shite, but I think it is the rear suspension that has also been deemed legal.

On another topic, the bad blood next year will be excellent.

You’ll see some good old fashioned hate between Red Bull and Mercedes.

Im not sure that Lewis and Max will. They have remained really cool throughout this despite taking some shots at each other. I do think the respect is there which is a big part. Lewis and Alonso and Lewis and Seb have that respect. Nico did some shite to Lewis that he held with him a long time.

Toto and Horner will probably be irreparable. So that shitshow will last forever.

The Alonso-Lewis relationship was pretty contentious in 2007 for obvious reasons and remained cold for a long time I think. It took a few years for that relationship to thaw. I knew that Alonso and Lewis had finally put together their differences when I saw Alonso head over to the Mercedes garage to find Lewis and congratulate him in person when we won his first driver championship with them in 2014 (his 2nd one after his 2008 McLaren campaign). Here's a video of that encounter - LINK

Here's an incredible stat :

Since that day in December 2014 when Alonso and Lewis shook hands after Lewis' 2nd championship, Lewis has won 70 races and Alonso has won a grand total of 0(!) races! The fact that Alonso is stuck on just two driver championships is one of the biggest travesties of the sport.

Tickets are going quickly. Eight grandstands are sold out already. Five grandstands have tickets remaining plus GA.

I can forward my email to you if you want. That may work.

So who does everyone have going into the weekend!? I feel like it's Hamilton's for the taking but you can't deny how cunning Max has been all season. He's also been a bit quicker on the starts and seems to be pretty difficult to catch from the front.

I have them hitting each other and the Max/Lewis fans arguing over what happened and whether the championship should have an asterisk.

Stewards make another consistently inconsistent decision.

Worst possible outcome. I hope it doesn’t happen.

It’s going to take a real turn in momentum for Max to win. Lewis is faster and honestly planted in Max’s head right now.

I think the racing will be close, but not over the line like most expect. Ultimately I think Bottas will be in a better position to help Lewis than Checo will be to help Max. There will probably be some team orders come down and Lewis will win.

No matter who wins, I've thoroughly enjoyed this season.
