Awesome race to start the season off, and I am encouraged that it looks like RB and Merc may be on a level playing field this year and we get Max vs Lewis for the WDC and Perez was impressive during the race, so possibly even a fight for the WCC.

Red Bull pretty much had the race won, while disappointed they have to be excited about where they stand.

Both top teams had errors that cost them.

Spectacular race, but I blame the stewards for the controversial ending because of their vague position on the T4 exit.

Yeah, that has got to be addressed. Especially because there were a handful of quali times deleted yesterday and it took a complaint for them to address it today.

I hate how this guy interviewing just gives the drivers softball questions after the race

The post race interviews usually have better questions. Rosberg has been known to throw some good ones in.

Also, Ziggo will have the interview with VER that you want.

Toto v Horner interview about to have sparks

Let's not forget Lando, who looks like "best of the rest" after the top two teams. I wasn't paying too close attention to the front of the mid-field so I don't know how McLaren and Ferrari are stacking up against each other. Will Alpha Tauri be in this mix? Aston Martin was not impressive (Stroll faded at the end, Vettel is done ). Based on qualy and the race, my very early guess on team order by the end of the year:

Mercedes
Red Bull

McLaren
Ferrari

Alpha Tauri
Alpine
Aston Martin
Alfa Romeo

Williams

Haas

He’s such a twat. Saying that was ocon’s fault because he changed lines, when he literally did not move.

Yeah, I don't know what he was getting on about. Ocon looked to be excessively slowing into the corner which was strange, but he has that right.

Maybe he was talking about he expected Ocon to turn in earlier?

Daniel finished 20s behind Lando. I'm curious if he had an incident, or if it was just on pace? Hmm...

With the DRS here, you can't use the excuse that you were stuck behind someone.

In post race he said that he didn't know the issue. Every time he tried to push he blew through the tires. Seemed satisfied with the car, but lost as to what the issue is.

Didn't Gasly clip his wing on Ricciardo?

Gasly. He rolled over the wing afterwards so Gasly probably messed up his floor. Explains his struggle.

Don’t remember who hit him, but they commented early on that ricciardo might have a left rear puncture from some contact.

If Checo had been in the mix, Red Bull wins this one. Mercedes being able to undercut Verstappen won them that race.

Bottas getting shafted again

There was a really good discussion over the track limits in post race as well.

Oddly no one seemed to be complaining about how anything transpired. Buxton seemed more worked up than anyone else.

Maybe the contact did damage to RIC's defuser.
