They’ll have a different set up that suits their style of driving, but other wise, exact same components. They are instances where one driver may get an upgrade sooner than another in certain circumstances.

Alex is a head case this season. Brazil 2019 screwed him up when Lewis punted him and denied his first podium then when it happened again in Austria he hasn’t been the same since.

Ham is close enough to go to mediums.
They bring him in, BOT lets him pass, HAM goes after Max with less than 5 laps.
If Max comes back in the BOT stays out and wins.

Yes and no... sometimes teams will try out an upgrade on one car (think new front wing, bargeboards, etc) just in case it fails... they will still have one car that is the old reliable tech...this usually happens more in practice, but it does happen in races
Teams can always take out and add a little wing angle to each drivers preference, also slightly different engine mapping too... but the basic components are the same

I really don’t understand RB putting Max on the mediums earlier.
That’s the disadvantage of Max not having a teammate to help his strategies.
