So help me out with understanding F1. I haven’t watched a ton of races but it seems to me it’s always the top 5 or 6 guys favored. Do the guys that start in the back of the pack ever really have a chance?

Not really unless its one of the top cars back there for a penalty. Williams and Haas will not win a race this year and they more than likely wont finish on the podium.

There's always a chance, but in reality no. There are haves and have nots in F1. It's set up that way. The back markers race for Manufacturers points. There are financial incentives to finsh in the top 10 in Manufacturer's standings

I have to wonder with how bad Vettel's cars consistently are... how much is just the car and how much is intentional by the team
CLC's cars seem so much better... I wonder if last years shenanigans with team orders had anything to do with it
