Reminds me of Hillary this last election. Up big but choked it away late.

Not that he didn't fade in the 4th this game but he barely played in the 4th in the first two.

Also it's a lot easier to go big in the 4th when you're standing around spotting up while three other guys on your team are putting in work most of the time.

Never ask to borrow a dollar from Lebron. You'll only get three quarters.

Jordan always got tired and disappered in the 4th quarter of big games too! Neither did Bird!

Oh wait, no he didn't!

You could see tonight that he was going to run out of gas. That was an amazing first half but he ran out of steam. It reminded me of a Westbrook or Harden game where they expend too much energy driving in the first half and by the end they have nothing left so they start launching jumpers.

They need to play Lebron 38 to 40 minutes and actually run plays for Love and Kyrie while he sits. There is no excuse that he couldn't sit for 2 minutes without giving up 10 points. Westbrook had the same issue only he didn't have Kyrie and Love who should be able to run the offense.

His shooting percentage by quarter IIRC got worse and worse.

Yeah I'm pretty positive that's not a defense you want to go with

Because theres a reason he saw limited playing time

Different being one of two scoring threats and keyed in every possession instead of being able to dish to literally anyone beyond the arc that'll sink one takes some pressure off.

Lebron and Kyrie are the staple. Kyrie is the best drive and finish in the game, he's unbelievable. And as unstoppable as he was on the drive tonight, the warriors can answer and drop 6 in two shots in less than 30 seconds and erase it all.

And if the point of this is to point out folding in crunch time, yeah I guess you're right, scoring wise but don't forget the most impactful block of all time last year. But the fact that this dude has played in 8 finals is pretty unreal. Can't fail on the biggest stage if you don't make it there to begin with. And honestly, how many times of the 8 has he played on an inferior team? Damn near all of them is the answer.

Well the Miami team was built for a championship (remember not 1, not 2, not 3, etc) so you can subtract those teams. They went 1-1 with Golden State pre Durant so they were not inferior. They just swept through the Eastern Conf so that is not really considered inferior.
So if you think damn near all is one out of eight then you may be right

It really is hard to explain. Lebron kinda vanishing in the 4th, especially in crunch time, has been a very consistent thing throughout his career.

Just imagine if Miami had not gotten the miraculous offensive rebound right to Ray Allen for the 3 to save the series.

A year when LeBron actually had some help against his Finals opponent.

He kinda does everything for Cleveland, so perhaps that pace is a bad thing.

When he sat early because of foul trouble against Boston in Game 4, he had 15 points in the 4th, even though he played 38 minutes.
