For the past 20 years, have the Dallas Cowboys been the NFL's most fraudulent team?

This is the most popular team ever, both in fan base and in worth($5.5 BILLION). Jerry Jones has everything at his disposal. Yet, every year is a shite show. I can honestly say, I thought all those years of being a tortured Saints fan was the worst. But now, after witnessing this fraud year after year, the Cowboys fan base must feel a unique kind of pain way too hard to imagine.

Started 3-0 against crappy teams. 3-7 since. 
I hope the Eagles put them out of their misery later this season. All the Superbowl talk, and end up not even making the playoffs.

The Cowboys have one huge problem that they will not be able to rid themselves of anytime soon.
As long as Jerry thinks he can run a football team, they will continue their fraudulent ways.

They are artificially propped up as "America's team" because of the huge market. If they were in Jacksonville, Nashville or New Orleans, you wouldn't see that shite show in prime time.

Jerry was able to catch lightning in a bottle and build a championship team with Aikmen, Emmitt and Irvin. This was only possible bc of the 8 draft picks they received for trading Herschel Walker to Minnesota.
Been shite ever since that dynasty ended.

You know what they say about lawyers acting as their own counsel, we'll it applies equally to owners who act as their own GM.
He's a horrible talent evaluator and he doesn't know how to spend money under the salary cap regime. And, for Dallas is about to get A LOT worse.

How can they be fraudulent when they look like, aren’t, and don’t win shyt? The Patriots are the true frauds of the period of time. They aren’t anything without the scumbag stuff they do to win. Cowboys are just a tried and true dumpster fire.

Idgaf about the Cowboys, it did suck when they had a lot of bandwagoners here in the 1990s, but that was a long time ago. I think it just shows that Jerry Jones is really only good at marketing. I can't imagine wanting to be a coach or player with his dumb arse looming over you every day.

They are not fraudulent.
They are what their record is, which is consistently mediocre over the last 20 years. Yes, there have been a few outlier seasons. Many coaches could have taken the talent on that team and at least make a SB somewhere in there.
The media pumps this team up. Most Cowboy fans realize the problem is ownership. Jerry is a great owner, but terrible GM. It’s that simple. There are a few Cowboy fans who think every year will be THE year. That’s true in all fan bases.
Most followers recognize the issue. I thought they’d be a little better this year than their record indicates, but really...just assumed another 9-7 type year was on the horizon.
