You speak for the rest of the world? Of course a championship doesn't take away from his legacy. Championships are team awards, not individual.

Wait, holy shite. You're laughing at the thought that Shaq is one of the greatest of all time?

He said the greatest to ever touch a basketball. That is laughable.

Shaq was an awesome player and is borderline top 7 alltime.

Please find me someone who won’t describe Malone as “a great player who never won a Championship”

If GHAZI didn't pump up the guy so much, everyone would talk about how great he is.

FACT. I read a David Aldridge column in which he stated this exact thing.

OK, maybe not.

If his lack of a championship takes away from his accomplishments to you then you're not very bright. Is Dan Marino not one of the best ever?

Sounds bad, but yea I’d have a hard time putting him ahead of all-time greats with rings if Terry misses the shot.

To quote Sir Charles: That's Turrible.

OK, seriously, though, as I stated, GOAT discussions are, by their nature, mostly subjective and the rings are what you consider to be important in your list.

I'm scared of Miami , especially if Whistle gets the same ref treatment he did in '06.

rigged

DWhistle and LeFRAUD will get all the calls because the Zionist NBA is trying to keep Dirk from a championship.

Me? He's a great player who won pretty much every individual honor you can. Championships are team awards, not individual, and therefore shouldn't accurately reflect on a player when talking about individual accomplishments.

The grizz in 6 or OKC in 7.

Edit: And the spurs would have beat the Mavs if they had met. The grizz are a worst matchup then the Mavs are for the Spurs.

Please read the thread. Hardware is a requirement for GOATers for basketball, not so much in football and baseball.

I did read the thread, but I fundamentally disagree with this notion in team sports in general.
