First night of Finals USA did its thing. Last night GBR took control.
Tonight the crazy man known as Sun Yang wins the 200 Free
Ledecky is just casually swimming a 1500, only 45 meters ahead at the 1200 meter mark. In her heat earlier she lapped 2 swimmers. She has another swim tonight about 45-50 minutes after this final.

Women swimmers have huge shoulders and back muscles
They do have that manly V look if their legs and hips do not have size. Remember back in the day some of those East German swimmers had mustaches I believe.

Sometimes swimmers hair looks nasty
That cholrine is horrible for their hair. I do not think the caps help too much.
I wouldn't let my girl swim in the pool all the time and if she did she wouldn't be able to get her hair wet.

She kinda rubs me the wrong way. She seems like the kind of chick most of her teammates don't like. I disliked gary hall jr too. At least she's better than he was, and her grandpa likely wasn't a wall street crook lol. I won't be sad when the next 15 year old american surpasses her though. Until then, keep winning for us.

I don't mind swimmers like LeClos, King, Hall, Carey. They backed up their antics. The one that gets me is Houszu, primarily because her husband. Sun Yang needs to DIAF though.

King is very impressive. She stared down the Russian after shite talking her for more than a year and then went out and broke a world record.
US team is super deep.
It's interesting how a lot of events have one person who is so far beyond everyone else (Peatty in the breaststroke, Sjostrom in the butterfly sprints, Ledecky in the long distance freestyle, etc).

Lol, yeah her husbabd is a piece of work. It appears to be working though. It's a bland sport, and I feel they're going overboard just for show. I feel like I'm one of those guys bitching about golf vs the old days, fml.

I think the 1500 free for women and the 800 free for men is already guaranteed for Tokyo, along with 3 on 3 basketball, skateboarding, surfing, boulder climbing, and baseball/softball.

They already added the 1500 for women and 800 for men, along with mixed relays.
50s won't be added until at least the next cycle. I'd rather 50s than the mixed relays though. And I think both men and women should just do the 1500.

If they kill mixed relays, i don't care what they add. There needs to be an 800 medley and an 800 i.m. relay though
