I think we need to stop buying merchandise until Kubiak is run out of town. the fact that he's been here 6 years is a testament to how low Bob Mcnair's standards are.

Today was one of the worst coached (also Quarterbacked) games I have ever seen in the NFL. Go back to our sequence at the end of the first half... this isn't a person who should be running an nfl team.

Considering ya'll will still probably win the division thus making the playoffs for the first time ever, I think refusing to buy merchandise is a little extreme.

If we make the playoffs, we won't be any closer to being a great team.

I'm afraid if we make the playoffs it'll buy Kubiak another 4-5 years.

Offensive playing calling when they have the lead is horrible. Run on 1st and 2nd down then throw on 3rd down when the def is expecting it. 3 and outs all the time

play calling was pretty bad all day. wtf was the last call? at least run a quick slant and give yourself another shot.

10-4 to the OP...Kubes is good at drawing up plays but terrible at strategy and game management, and I agree Schaub is another middle of the road QB. He always comes up short in the big moments. We're gonna get rolled by the Ravens next week.

far from the truth, although he has had his share of blunders.

owner doesn't give a shite because the fans keep going to the games despite winning or losing. He's making his money and that's all that matters to him

As a person who Hates texas and all it's sports teams I find myself rooting for the Texans for some reason. After watching a good bit of your games I have come to 2 conclusions. 1. Kubiaks problem is fixable. All he has to do is stop calling the same Friggin plays over and over and when you have the lead stop with this run, run, pass, punt shite. 2. Schaubs problem is not fixable. To be a elite Quarterback you have to have that killer instinct. Schaub is missing this. Physically he has the tools. Mentally he is missing the ability to finish. Once Schaub is gone maybe you have a chance.

It's hilarious that y'all are gonna be 3-3 after next week.

When i was jokingly telling texans fans "enjoy your 8-8 season" while leaving the Mercedes Benz Superdome I didn't
Really believe Houston would sniff anything worse than 10-6.

Schaub is not an elite QB, I don't think any rational person has even said other wise. They showed a stat yesterday that he has 10 wins where they took the lead in the 4th Q. Someone metion's Aaron Brooks, he did QB a playoff win so to think the Texans can not win with Schaub is foolish he is no doubt a top 12 QB.

The last pass he threw was terrible, but there is plenty of blame to go around for the loss: #47 drops what should have been a TD on that last drive: Dressen dropped what would have been a first down earlier in the 4th, forcing a punt. The Special Teams gave up a blocked punt, a fake FG and missed a makable FG, which BTW had it been made, would have changed the last couple of drives. As bad as the Texas D was last year, the ST was also terrible. On the Raiders first TD, they blitzed 2 safeties, Jason Allen missed a tackle on By and he was gone. Bad call, bad tackling.

and who exactly are they going to replace him with? Elite QB's do not grow on tree's. They are not going to get Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Rivers. They can draft someone, but what makes you think Landry Jones or Matt Barkely will be better, especially next year? Please note they will not be in a position to even trade up for Luck. Matt Fylnn will be a hot commodity, he still an unknown, but will have plenty of suiters.

3-3 after 6 is where I thought they'd been, only I thought they'd beat Oakland and lose to Pitt. After Balt, they play @Tenn in a big game. After that its : Jax, Cleve, @TB, bye, @Jax, Atl, @Cin, Car, @Indy, Tenn. 10-6 at worst. Though losing Williams for maybe 2 months will hurt.

That's pretty much how I was looking at it too. It just sucks knowing that you had 2 wins within your grasps and let them get away.

I don't get how everyone thinks them winning the division is so cut and dry. The Titans D can still stop them. Division games are a different animal. As most of the Saints fans learned yesterday.

Tennessee is more than capable of sweeping the Texans. We find out how good the Texans have come when they go to Nashville in 2 weeks.

A simple question:

why the hell does it matter that we just go to the playoffs? Does anyone think we'd win the division if Manning wasnt hurt? I don't want to win the division bc another team has an injury: I want to win because we're the best team.

A playoff berth just buys Kubiak another 6-7 years of incredible MEDIOCRITY. Is it stupid or naive to want more for this team and this city than just a playoff berth?

We need to build for a Super Bowl run, not a playoff run.

Not to want but, at least for this year, yes if you're expecting more than that. Not all steps forward are going to be massive leaps. Sometimes you have to just be satisfied with the incremental ones and FINALLY getting the postseason monkey off of Houston's back would still make for a successful season this year.
