i had a serious sprain in bball one time and played about 15 more minutes after
it was the "side of the ankle hits the floor" sprain
after i stopped my ankle blew up to where i could barely fit it in an untied shoe the next day

Sure as hell didnt look good at first but he seems to be walking pretty well.
