Falcons are shutting down their facility after multiple positive tests, sources tell ESPN.

Ridiculous. Have the players sit out that are positive and move on. They wouldn’t do this dumb arse shite for the Flu

Has any player / coach / staff member at the professional or college level even been hospitalized from the virus?

Raheem Morris hasn't even found his head coach parking spot yet.

Believe me, you would know all about it if that were the case, because national media would be going wonker bonkers over it.

You don't remember the story about that Indiana football player who had heart issues and was taken to the ER after contracting COVID? It was probably one of the major driving factors on why Big 10 school presidents didn't want to have a football season this year.

that drill sergeant coach is finally gone, they all went out to celebrate

So you’re saying Covid saved his life?

the problem is the lag in getting accurate positive tests
if you wait too long, it will spread too much

I heard 28 positives but only 3 recovered so far.

Why do we have this dumbass take every time this happens, obviously it’s significantly worse than the Flu, get it through your thick skulls.

Not true for all age groups. It is significantly worse for older folks. For NFL players, it’s less risky than the flu.

So they are just formalizing the process of having not shown up in the second half of games this year

Yeah for people over 60. Forgot there are a bunch 60+ folks on nfl rosters.

For some people it is, but for the vast majority of people, no, its not.
So basically, it is the flu.

I know a Division II player died from complications of COVID-19. I don't know the whole story behind that or what the complications were.
