You realize Merc would destroy the competition even more. It's an arms race, Merc played the turbo era perfectly (technologically and politically).

I guess the only "excitement" we get this year is that Hamilton's teammate might win the title. It's getting to the point where people will just be relieved if Ferrari can win a race. Red Bull's main hope for a win is at Monaco.

At least there's an IndyCar race today, where we don't know which team is going to win the race.

Depending on how this race goes Merc won't make some great leap in their engine upgrade. No need go risk reliability if they don't need power at this point.

Wow. What kind of ominous, overlord national anthem was that?

Let's do this. No more wire to wire snoozefests.

Watching the start again, Vettel should have let LeClerc through after failing to pass in the 2nd turn. It shows now, as LeClerc is clearly faster.

Might as well let them go all out if they are going to win everything anyway.

Well at least the safety car let the mid-pack have a late-race scrap.

Grosjean is driving so desperately.

Ham made that look easy. It was a pretty parade.

After five races, the top two places have been the same two guys, and the top five places have been the same five guys.

And Ferrari race management is still a mess.

I enjoy the scraps to see who gets the third place and who gets fastest lap etc

Disappointed in Haas - Grosjean should have finished higher

Haven’t watched yet. Did Bottas blow the start?

I wouldn't say he blew it but Lewis' start was fantastic.

This year is just 2015 all over again. Arrivabene, wherever he is, must be laughing his arse off.

It is easy when all you have to do is pass the one NPC they teamed you with.

Rosberg would have gone wire to wire.

I think we're witnessing the beginning of the end of Vettel's career. He seems to have lost the fire and is driving like a robot, like what has happened to Kimi.

Everyone is pissed that Merc is walking away with this.

They should be pissed that Ferrari is mailing it in. They have everything they need to win, except they can't work as a team. How does it take them 4 laps to tell Leclerc to give the damn position back? VET is on a different strategy that involves him getting by.

No doubt they could have caught VES early on had they not fought each other. Tow each other around. The whole team seems incompetent.

VER, not VES.

I guess FOM decided Vergne is officially gone.
