I pull for about half the grid

Haas - American team
Lando - his Twitch streams are making me a fan
Ferrari & Red Bull primarily because I want someone to beat Mercedes.

I also root for rain, wet races are good chaos. Of course it only rains when Lewis needs it to rain.

Still fairly new to F1 but what driver or team does everyone pull for? So far, I like the McLaren team and Gasley from Red Bull.

The McLaren drivers are awesome.

I also like Max and Leclerc

F1 generally splits between team and driver fans. Probably the more old school you are the more team-oriented you are. Newer fans seem to split closer to 50/50. I have been a Ferrari fan since the 70s. So as a member of the Tifosi I pull for the Scuderia all day err day. I do appreciate other teams and drivers but in the end it is all about the red cars.

Same.

KMag, Verstappen, LeClerc, & Riccardio are typically who I root for, so I’m kind of all over the place. Lando is starting to win me over, may have to check out his twitch streams.

Ferrari had a great day, can't get Vettel out of the garage for Q1 and the same for Leclerc in Q3.

Ferrari can’t get out of their own way this season. Feel terrible for both drivers. They’ve shown good pace at nearly every race this season but the cars have been so unreliable. I’ll be pulling for a strong finish from Kimi tomorrow.

Came in to see why VET didn't post a time. That sucks.

Why do they keep screwing up? Bad culture around the team?

Mechanical issues. They probably have the fastest car in F1 this season but they keep breaking in qualifying or during the race.

Watching the replay, quoting Hamilton:

‘Good job guys I don’t know how we did that one’

It is like he is surprised MB is doing well

Would be nice to see them get that sorted out for Lelerc’s sake

Same. I'd love to see him sneak onto the podium somehow.

As for Ferrari, it almost felt inevitable that something else was going to go wrong for them. Might as well paint ACME on the livery at this point.

LeClerc has unbelievable potential if they can close the gap on MB.

LeClerc and Verstappen could be incredible to watch over their careers. I see a lot of battles ahead.

I'm a new F1 fan this year. The Netflix series got me hooked. My brother has been following F1 forever. If I have a question about it he probably has an answer.

I can say that I'm not sure I'm a fan of DRS.

Probably bc Ferrari mechanical issues and occasional driver errors have handed him as many podiums as he’s earned himself lol.

Agreed on LeClerc vs Verstappen in the future. British GP was some incredible racing between the two of them.

ETA: and Kimi is just awesome in general. I hope Alfa puts together a good car next season, I think they have the best looking/best livery. I’m a newly minted Alfa fanboy though, so they are my go-to F1.5 team.

Same here. I’ve always been a casual observer, but really dove in. That series was a brilliant move by FIA for getting Americans on board, IMO.
