So this thing is getting interesting and battle lines are kind of being drawn here between a shitload of people.
University looks like they're going to drag out the reinstatement review, Cephus and his attorneys playing the race card (seems to actually apply in this situation), the girls and the father who is on the board of regents at the UW, the players who are openly supporting Quintez, Barry/Chryst, Rebecca Blank (chancellor).
Apparently the team has been given orders to not appear on tv or advocate publicly for him. I'm sure Chryst has been talked to. Barry is the wild card...will he throw Blank under the bus? I'd love to see it. Fans are pissed at the UW and seeing right through the bullshite. We want the guy to get his life back...with the UW ideally, but just somewhere. We also support Cephus suing the shite out of the university if not reinstated.
UW is traditionally a "we're not going to favor athletes" type of school, so that's coming into it. Also fun to think about is the SJWs and their internal struggle between the #metoo side of them that blindly supports the accuser and the #endracism side that should support Cephus. I can only imagine the consternation they're experiencing

Her name should be plastered all over the internet and newspapers. shite like this is why ESPN started reporting every “misbehavior” that Jameis Winston had. A cleat chaser felt guilty about giving up them cheeks and couldn’t lock him down so now we have to hear about him yelling out something in the student union. Yeah okay.
The Obama Administration really fricked over the male population of college campuses and declining white male attendance is going even further down now.

Sounds like dad on the board of regents couldn't get over the fact that his little angel had a drunk threesome with a black man. And as someone else said earlier, pertaining to her, regret does not equal rape. He's been wronged and it needs to be made right.

I'll be very surprised if the University doesn't drag things out just to frick him for this year. UW has been a leftist paradise for decades and this case really raises questions about about Title IX. Daddy being a Regent just adds more to the mix.
Chryst has already said he would welcome him back and that makes me think Barry feels the same. His teammates were already vocal about their support until being told to shut down their commenting on it.

And when the school administration is telling players that they can’t tweet support for their innocent teammate, you know other coaches will use that in recruiting against them. If it weren’t for quality athletic programs, why the hell would most of the male students even consider Wisconsin?

If he is not reinstated for at least school and some of the season to be able to play some of the games......this can only kill recruiting for UW.
Don't go to Madison kid...you see what they do if you get caught with a white girl?
This is sad for Q.
It is delicious seeing the dilemma of the SJW minds between the feminist and the BLM crowd. But I don't wish this to be happening to my team. I also am not convinced that there is nearly as strong of a contingent of metoo in this instance because the case is so weak.
I would think the safe play by the Chancellor would be to readmit Q after a couple weeks of due diligence so it doesn't appear to be a rush job for a favored athlete.
Anything less than that for Q in this case and I think we will have a fanbase that is irate and a team that is distracted.
This is an all academic kid who seems by what can tell pretty smart respectful and popular.

I think the same could be said for many schools. And those schools don't have the academic reputation that Wisconsin does, nor are they in an amazing city with a beautiful campus like Wisconsin is.

The above is why I was surprised when the allegations first came out. Seems to be a good kid that didn't come from the best situation earlier in life.

UW did the right thing and re-instated him today.
I’m pleased and a little surprised

I'm surprised, too. No matter the amount of training QT has done in his time off, he hasn't played since November 2017. Would anticipate it'll take time for him to be anything more than a situational receiver, but there is little-doubt the boost this gives Wisconsin. As I mention earlier in this thread, dude is an NFL talent.

So that has to open them up to litigation right?

Not reinstating would have opened them to litigation.
They didn’t get all the evidence at the time of expulsion. I’m sure that the texts and the videos weren’t part of a title IX hearing. The school doesn’t have that power.
If you don’t reinstate him you have set the precedent that anyone accused of an assault is expelled with no chance of reinstatement. That’s incredibly dangerous.

They should be fricked either way. But they may have been following the Obama Admin rules for Title IX to the letter.

Title 9 is an absolute joke. Black athletes get the worst of it too (which is kinda funny considering who are the people who pushed for Title 9).

We needed a threat at receiver.
