Am I the only one that doesn't see the problem? He's not her coach so there shouldn't be any problem as far as workplace type stuff. He's an adult, she's an adult so no statutory problems. I assume it wasn't rape so good there. What's the issue?

He had previous counseling sessions about how to act appropriately too. He gone.

ask the Dept. of Education... that's a Title IX issue... not a legal 1
school ain't gonna let the DoE pull its funding b/c a coach & cheerleader get hot for each other

yeah... having worked at a university... every employee undergoes Title IX training... that sorta shite isn't accepted at all by any university

You are not . The cheerleader was of age . Unless he used his position to promise her favors (like making the cheerleading team ) or anything similar this shouldn't be an issue . I don’t agree with it but he shouldn’t lose his job

True story. Made it to a world basketball all-star tournament way back in the day, when you actually had to earn your way there. We played a team from Evansville, Indiana. A bunch of white dudes walked into the gym and beat the ever living shite out of us. That's the only thing I've ever known about Evansville, until I heard their coach knocked up a cheerleader.

He is originally from PA, but has a lot of ties to Louisiana. He graduated from Loyola Law School and was a professor at LSU Law School for many years. He also was a HS basketball ref in Louisiana for long time. Very good guy.
