frick espn

I'm enjoying some NBA on TNT and baseball on ROOT sports tonight. I've cut all espn, including the website, except for live sports. I don't support their sponsors, unless the obvious Coke, Nike, etc. that I already purchase.

Why do you watch and link a show that you want cancelled?

The problem with his article is that it paints with such a skinny brush. I mean, of course all cities are racist. Duh. How could that not be the case when every single person in america is racist. Yes yes, you read that correctly. Here in america, we're all racist. Additionally, every negative thing that happens to individuals in this country is necessarily racist. There can be no other reasonable explanation for any and all negative such occurrences other than systemic, institutional racism.

But doesn't everybody already know that?

Many of our institutions were started or embedded in racists policies, ideologies, or beliefs. It's just a fact.

It's a undeniable fact. The sooner we can recognize that, the better we will
All be.

Man, I remember Michael Smith as the cool/young guy on Around the Horn back in the day.

How times have changed

Meanwhile, Jayson Stark and Ed Werder are unemployed and ESPN's ombudsman is still getting emails from viewers, pleading for them to stick to sports...

It's likely that he always had these opinions. So you probably never would have liked him

Let me guess, you think his opinion is very intellectual and profound?

They also aren't beating you over the head with their political opinions. They endorsed Trump, but had no problem with players who decided not to go to the White House. The QB himself did not even go.

I don't think Michael Smith is anywhwre near Bomani, Pablo, or LeBatards intelligence, but I don't know why it's so offensive to suggest so?

It's more offensive to experience the effects of racism than to just be bothered by talks of it

It's because Sportscenter isn't the right platform to address this issue, simple as that. Even without the social discussions, the show sucks.

I don't like it when sports figures get political even when their views agree with mine, but didn't Brady make news before the SB for NOT delving into a line of political questioning?

Come on now.

Actually it was worse, they ran from any public association with trump whenever asked. Pretty cowardly and cuckish after all that posturing. I find it hilarious that Trump pulled their card.

You think they had a choice? Do they really want a fractured locker room? I can guarantee you many players, to a man, lost respect for Brady, Trump, and the owners. It's even more of a "workplace" for them now. Getting mad at players for not going to the Trump White House isn't the cross you want to bare. You'll lose your locker room.

Because Michael Smith is a race-baiter.

Anybody who lives in America can point out racism that was directed at them.

That's obvious with the point I made about the Apollo.
