Maybe so. As a former public school teacher it was a weekly ordeal to hear a black student tell me they couldn't stand "that white lady" or "that white man". Black people are just as racist as white people but people are afraid to say it.

That's cool dude. I'd recommend you read the FBI findings on that case. But it is what it is.

I could also bring up the entire Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel situation. But I'd rather not think about Doanld Trump this morning.

Racism should be called out/put down 100% of the time, regardless of the pigmentation of the originating individual.

Way too many other tangible problems afoot this day and age to allow such foolishness to proceed unchecked. And no race has a monopoly on said foolishness.

What I dont agree with is labeling every city a racist city. And Im not sure who is downplaying this as thats just how boston talks except some jackasses in boston. Even the barstool guys didnt defend boston in this situation.

I don't think it's a sweeping label to point out that the majority of major cities in America have had some kind of racial tension in the past or presently. Boston just seems to have a love/hate relationship with the subject. People from that area love to bring up the fact that it was the first state to desegregate public schools or bring up it's abolitionist movements. But they typically get up in arms when you mention the negative takes.

were they poor?

I think get what you are saying, but the real dividing line is have and have not. Poor kids have problem been given 100 excuse of why they have it rough. Some self inflicted some systematic. All probably blamed on someone else.

What do you think an Alton Sterling type told his kids. I have to go and hustle because society want allow me to get a regular job.

Again I am not saying that isnt the case. But you cant just label every city racist. With that logic every city has a spousal abuse problem, a drinking problem, a theft problem, etc.

Some areas are worse than others. There are exceptions on both ends. And that tension goes both ways all over the country.

Definitely agree with this. Especially in a public school setting. Many poor minority kids are immediately taught that all white people have money and power. So it's an uphill battle for the jump.

The flip side is, many poor whites are under the impression that even though they are poor and have nothing. At least they aren't black.

Currently, I think this country has some race/social economic issue (depending on the region). But I don't think you can say either one is bigger than the other.

I don't think anyone is disputing that

I didn't and don't. I'm good with who I am in my skin.

you can't see where a blanket statement of every city is racist is the same as saying every whatever minority is something something is pretty much the same?

Blanket statements that classify anything or anyone under the same umbrella is just ridiculous and does not further relations between human beings at all

We have poor underclass white and black that have no desire or no idea how to get out, and we aren't able to effectively train them in school.

I think sure you have the poor whites that well atleast I am not black, but at the same time they are locked into a poors life they are never going to get out of.

I think that is what you have in Boston. A healthy ignorant white under class. That is where you get the racist comments, because the poor blacks and white are in a struggle often against each other to get out.

At this point if you have some trash being a racist you know they aren't even in society. You have everything to lose by escalating with this loser, and they have nothing but going back to their loser life. also this isn't Jackie Robinson out there making middle class living. It is a millionaire.

I would have possible complained to security like a little bitch, but I am not going to confront some loser racist who is obviously not part of civilized society.

You can really tell the demographic on this board based on the votes.

Pro-white a billion up votes.
Someone post something non pro-white a billion down votes.

and by billion 10-20?

there are more facets to this then pro-white and black. that is a great simplification to keep people at each other.

No shite a billion is an over exaggeration but look at the votes based on the comments in this particular thread and how tyne pendulum swings. I'm just calling a spade a spade.

Racist is defined as "a person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another."

So how exactly was this kid showing a belief that his race is better than the white lady? Prejudicial is the word you're looking for.
