How do you figure? The cord got cut on the other 108 channels as well.
Cord cutting can have varying impacts depending on the demographics. ESPN targets a younger demographic with their daytime programming. That demographic is also more likely to cut the cord, especially males. The ratings are so minuscule it’s getting close to not being able to accurately determine viewership, making their ratings even more vulnerable to cord cutters.
The reality is that daytime ESPN is background noise. It isn’t appointment TV, and I feel sorry for anyone if they record these shows to watch after they get home from school or work. ESPN made a huge mistake. The show, format, and hosts are so bad that people are now actively turning off the tv or changing the channel.

And people use to just turn on ESPN in the morning for background noise on scores and highlights while getting ready for work.
That was during a time when ESPN was pretty much the only place you could go for highlights.
Watchable streaming highlights on the computer put Sportscenter on life support.
Watchable streaming highlights on smart phones killed it.

I am curious to see what ratings the CWS game that is playing in the Get Up time slot will get today. It should be telling, as to what people want to see on ESPN, particularly if it blows Get Up out of the water.

Mike Greenberg is making $6.5 million per year for this show, while co-hosts Michelle Beadle nets $5 million, and Jalen Rose pulls in $3 million
Wow...ESPN is racist
