They didn't even win state when Toe was in Dixie Youth. I'm fact they lost in the state finals to Ville Platte Toe's 12 year old year. But the Gonzales team that lost in the finals didn't have Toe in it. Toe's team lost in District to the other Gonzales team. They never won state in 9,10,11 or 12 any of Toe's years. Jason's team is the only 12 year old team to ever win state. Gonzales has won the 9 year old and 13,14 other years. Toe never won a state title.

Gonzales actually lost in Ville Platte Toe's 12 year old year. But it was not to VP. It was to Swartz. But again, Toe was not on that team, his team lost in district.

Quit trying to make stuff up. Toe never won a state title. And when his 12 year old team lost at district. He was on the mound and got lit up by the other Gonzales team. They bombed him. He was a great player. But he choked every year in All Stars.

Gonzales didn't win the Dixie boy World Series when Toe was 13 or 14.

So who are you saying won? Gonzales won a few years after Toe with a different set of kids. Your memory failed you. Fouling a ball off Toe was not a great accomplishment. As great as he was he gave up bombs in all star play.

You clearly say they won that year or the year before. Which they didn't. They won Dixie boys after he was gone. So quit back tracking.

Honestly I said I think they did. But I did say I know they did win one.

Toe was 15 in 1997. Gonzales won the 13 year old World Series. So how is that the year before he struck you out. And unless you played up, there is no way you played Toe when you were 12 and he was 13. The way this birthday fell. He was always one of the younger kids in the league.

I was on the Swartz team that won it in'96. Ended finishing 5th in the World Series in Dothan, AL.

There was one kid on Gonzalez team that seemed to drop bombs for fun. Can't remember his name though. I think he set a ton of records 2 years earlier in the 9-10 yr old state tourney.

ETA: Not sure what year was Toe's 12 year old year. That might've been the '94 Swartz team that won state. Had Trey White leading the team. They ended up 4th in the World Series.
