Likely comparable. Maybe even 1%

That’s not an argument for more college baseball coverage. If anything the opposite.

I’m not arguing anything just pointing out the hypocrisy by espn and also debunking the “college baseball isn’t covered because nobody cares” argument

Times are all Central.

6:00 PM Baseball: Wake Forest @ North Carolina ACC network
6:00 PM Baseball: Missouri @ Florida SEC network
7:00 PM Baseball: South Carolina @ Texas A&M ESPNU

They've got college hockey today too.

4:00 PM College Hockey: Western Michigan vs. Denver ESPN2
7:00 PM College Hockey: Penn State vs. Boston University ESPN2

Don't know why ESPN has nothing but a replay of what was shown this afternoon from the Masters

It is weird because in a way, they are responsible for its growth to start with. As a new network in the early 80's who had no broadcast rights with any major sports, their wall to wall coverage of the college world series put the sport on the map.

As for the sport not being that popular nationally, that didn't stop them from pushing the subsidized WNBA down our throats.

Last Sunday, golf on NBC and Golf on Fox. I would have killed for college baseball.

And just like college football, they'll eventually be responsible for its death as well

If I had to list out of the 3 my preference to watch on tv.

Softball and bowling , both come in before college baseball.

I don’t want college baseball to get any bigger. If it does, NIL will destroy the sport.

Sad but true. It’s religion in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi and that’s about it. Three of the five poorest states I’d say and not particularly well populated ones. I hope it’s growing in the other states though.

So true. It’s probably perfect right now.

In my opinion, college baseball gets the amount of coverage it deserves. They show it on ESPN2, ESPNU, the SEC Network and so on. It gets more coverage on ESPN than college hockey. With the BTN and changes in college hockey all ESPN really shows now is the NCAA men's' tournament and the frozen four.

Plus, baseball fans as a whole are different from NBA or NFL fans. We watch other MLB games when our team is not on. We don't watch AAA or college baseball whereas NBA and NFL fans are likely to watch college versions.
