Nobody cares about Gasol vs Howard.
We've moved on to juicer debates like KAT vs Greg Monroe

Shaq was a fricking dominant post player.

ESPN ranks Top 30 Centers by BoomshockalockaShaq couldn't shoot either. Finishing ability(read: easy buckets not 50% midrange jumpers), rebounding, rim defense are all more valuable skills than having "a post move". Or making a 15 footer. That's why you see those 3 ranked above Gasol.
You realize due to the make up of the roster, Gasol plays more at the high post elbows area to allow another low post player to be have any usefulness on the court?

Shaq couldn't shoot. Let's point an laugh because Gasol can shoot a 12 footer and he couldn't.

It is like talking to a brick wall

We get it mate.
You believe Monroe will continue this trend and have a career year in every single statistical category.
We believe that a 19 year old rookie (now 20) will continue to improve throughout the year.

Guess that explains why he was outrebounded by 3 Thunder players last night including Waiters.
rebounding just isn't his strength.

The Thunder are the best rebounding team in the league for a reason....

Boom, it's more and more clear that you started this thread because you're upset that a skilled iq based player such as Gasol has usurped a player whose athleticism is fading fast and is becoming less and less relevant.
I have the utmost respect for the Rockets, but you got the second half of his career, not his best half.

I believe both, but right now I would take KAT over Monroe all day, every day. Monroe is a good player and may very well be an all-star this year but Towns is just so much more talented and versatile, and he's already a better defender than Monroe has ever been.

Do you understand rebounding?

No need to act like this. You had a chance to debate and you didn't give any reasons why KAT is better. The only statistics you provided were wrong. So please, be my guest and explain why KAT is better than Greg Monroe TODAY.
Also, I love how a 25 year old who switches to a new offense with more space can't keep up his production but a fricking rookie can.

That's another good possibility too.
I'm curious to see Monroe's numbers once Jabari and MCW are healthy and sucking up some usage.

I agree with all of this other than taking KAT all day every day. All signs point to Monroe having a career year so I don't think it's crazy to assume his numbers don't drop off too heavily.
If I need a player for the next 10 years, obviously I'm taking KAT. If I'm Lebron and am recruiting a player to help me win a title THIS YEAR, I'm taking Greg Monroe.

Fading fast?
Howard last week in 3 games
78% FG
21 points
17 rebs
2 blks
2 assists
You haven't been watching just admit it.

21 points in 3 games? Holy shite how does Houston ever lose.

That's not the way your post reads. He's average 17 rebounds a game?

KAT would be a better fit.
