I love how the Red birds get no respect. Your pretty badass when you need to get rid of a guy like Carlos Beltran in order to find a spot for guys like Matt Adams & Tavares. Can't wait to see Butt hurt Braves fans in October.

In all fairness, he has probably fricked all of our moms at some point.

Angels have played like garbage in the opening week and yet they're two spots ahead of the A's?
Well they have played the Reds and the Rangers both on the road, while the A's have played the Mariners at home and the Astros on the road. Are you hanging your hat on splitting with Seattle and sweeping the Lastros?

oh ok, that makes 6 ER on 9 hits disappear
Just saying. It's not like he was getting tagged all over the ballpark. Obviously he was off, but so was Verlander, David Price, Hamels, Dickey, etc.
Guys are going to have bad starts. It's a long season. No reason for concern.

No one said you should be concerned...we are specifically talking about the power rankings and how teams are playing now.
Reds shouldn't necessarily be first, but they at least should be above the Nats.

I agree. Reds have a damn good team. Will win 95+ I think.

okay? so we're going to give the Nats the top spot based on preseason notions instead of on the field performance, just because guys have bad starts?

2. Braves
They have a mediocre infield and a solid but unspectacular rotation without an ace. The Upton brothers won't carry them far.

No way ESPN can give 3 AL West team props at the same time. They have standards you know.

So many haters in here. Feels great to Chop.

If you're this butthurt over power rankings, you're hilarious. They are literally meaningless.
Posted on 4/8/13 at 5:16 pm to bamafan425
It won't feel great to Chop when the Nationals win the division by more than five games.

Can't wait till they lose in the first round and all the bandwagon fans go back into hiding until the next reincarnation of Chipper Jones.
